Maria "MJ" Jordan is the creator and host of Afternoon Tea Radio, a platform that has reached 110 million active users on REAL 1100am and iHeartRadio, recently expanding to YouTube. Known for her compelling interviews with Angie Martinez, Anthony Hamilton, and Kandi Burruss, Maria has also hosted major events and partnered with Jada Pinkett-Smith for Red Table Talk Live and Marjorie Harvey for the Girls Who Rule the World mentoring camp. As Chair of EmpowHER, Cortland’s Associate Resource Group, and a 2025 IREM Board Member, she is dedicated to fostering leadership and empowerment within her industry.

Maria is currently developing the 2nd series of Afternoon Tea Radio, highlighting the journey of 12 extraordinary women across industries. Each show will explore topics such as leadership, overcoming adversity, and the lessons learned along the way. With 19+ years of experience, she excels in leading teams, driving client retention, and building thriving communities. As a passionate author, she wrote The Secret Keeper: Perfect the Way You Are, a children’s book inspired by her daughter, encouraging young readers to face challenges like bullying with confidence and kindness.

Maria’s dedication to philanthropy has been a guiding force throughout her career. While studying at Drexel University, she founded Self-Explanatory Productions, an organization that supported charities like St. Jude Hospital, The Lung Cancer Foundation, and The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
